About Chinquapin
Chinquapin Records is a cooperative of artists and advocates formed late 2010 in New Orleans, LA. Though the name is still young, the community that it represents has been sharing and caring since we first fell in love with each other's music. Chinquapin Records seeks to be an outlet for sharing the music we make and the music we love.

Austin, TX is constantly breeding fine a litter of independent musicians and MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR ain’t no exception to that fact. MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR is influenced by the energy of Punk bands like Husker Du, the hooks of late 60′s Pop groups like the Zombies, and the wackiness of Glam Rock idols such as David Bowie and Roxy Music.
