Things aren’t lookin good. Nevertheless, the Christmas angels of old are providing you with a chance to get back into Santa’s good graces.
Chinquapin Records and Austin’s Skank Family Collective are releasing our first ever HOLIDAY CHARITY JINGLER. Chinquapin and Skanky Possum have united to create a Christmas compilation of epic proportions: thirteen tracks of classic Christmas songs and some original holiday jingles to boot! It’s what the kids are into.
On December 9th beginning at 9pm at Café Prytania, fine spirits will be drank, gifts will be gifted, and festive merriment will ensue at the CHINDIG 03: A HOLIDAY SOCIAL. Jolly live music will be provided by local friends Sun hotel and Country Club. And not to worry friends, attend this jovial gathering in good conscience: all proceeds from the event and the compilation go to Toys for Tots in Bastrop, TX and to help fight hunger and homelessness in New Orleans via NOAAHH. Your Chinquapin buddies will provide gifts to all such as pictures with Cooper Claus, Chinquapin Records Holiday Scarves, and enough beer to get Santa an FWI (flying while intoxicated).
