A few weeks back we presented CHINDIG 09, a benefit show for local radio station WTUL, with the goal of helping them to raise money for the annual Rock On Survival Marathon fundraising event. Thanks to your support, the event was a great success, but Marathon ain’t over yet. This weekend, our close friends and WTUL all-stars KG Accidental will be DJ-ing for 24 STRAIGHT HOURS. That’s right, they’ll be live on 91.5 FM and streaming online from noon Saturday to noon Sunday, and they’ve got plenty of exclusive performances, giveaways, and other exciting events in store for what is sure to be a very special 24 hours of radio programming. During the show, KG Accidental will be setting up shop in Tulane University’s Pocket Park (located next to the LBC off McAlister) and are encouraging folks to come out and join them for the festivities. They will be accepting donations by phone (504-865-5885), online, or in person, and you’ll get to hear music of your choice and win cool stuff in return! Below, we’ve got a full list of pledge levels and their corresponding rewards, plus a complete schedule of performances and events that will be taking place throughout KG Accidental’s 24 hour WTUL residency. We’ll be tuning in and hanging out in Pocket Park throughout the event, so come by and say hey!
