Donovan Wolfington Announce Record Release

The folks in Donovan Wolfington have announced the release of Stop Breathing, their first full length, which will be coming out on Community Records and Broken World Media April 13, 2013. Vinyl pre-orders will be available February 5th, and will include exclusive merch, so be sure to reserve your copy soon! Donovan Wolfington plan to celebrate the record release with a set at this year’s Community Records Block Party.

In a statement about the process of writing, recording, and releasing Stop Breathing, singer-songwriter Neil Berthier said:

“I’ve never been so happy with anything I’ve ever helped create musically. I know it’s the most cliche thing to say in the whole entire world of music, but the amount of influences that have come into the making of this record emotionally, personally and musically makes it extremely special to us. If there’s one thing to take away from Stop Breathing, I would say it would be that no matter how frustrating life is sometimes, the hard times can always be remembered in a beautiful light. The most sincere thanks to everyone who is interested”

So far the group has released singles “Spencer Green,” “Hell,” and today, in honor of their exciting announcement, a third entitled “Die Alone.” Check them out at their bandcamp.
